The house and the line
Tutulong is a character house producing in Guangdong, China. Boboco is one of its sub-lines, alongside names such as Maomaolong.
Listings often present Boboco as a separate brand, or as a Tutulong collaboration. Neither is right. It sits inside the same house.
Why sub-line versus crossover changes the job
A sub-line involves one owner. A crossover involves two, and every question about approvals, artwork and release timing has to clear both.
So the classification is not trivia. It tells you how many parties have to agree before anything can be quoted, and it tells you whether a supplier claiming to represent the property is plausible.
Series names travel badly
English series names are usually re-translated somewhere between the factory and the buyer, and the second translation rarely matches the first.
One Boboco series circulates in English as Gala Night. The name closer to the packaging is Night of Elegant Rites. Same release, two names, and a buyer comparing quotes against the wrong one will think they are looking at two products.
Ask for the Chinese name on the box and a photo of the packaging. That is the only reference that stays stable.
What we can and cannot confirm
We can confirm the structure: Boboco is a Tutulong line. We have not confirmed the corporate ownership behind the house, so we do not publish a company name for it.
Availability is confirmed per enquiry. Where a route cannot be verified, we say so and point you at something we can stand behind.
