POP MART characters, explained.

POP MART is a publisher, not a category

POP MART is a listed Chinese designer toy company. It runs its own stores, vending machines and online channels, and it publishes blind box lines under character IPs that it owns or licenses from artists.

That matters for sourcing. A POP MART character is not a generic product type. It is a specific property with a single publisher behind it.

The character names buyers ask about

The properties most often mentioned in enquiries include Molly, The Monsters (the family Labubu belongs to), Skullpanda, Dimoo, Pucky, Hirono and Crybaby.

Several began as independent artist characters. Molly is associated with designer Kenny Wong, and The Monsters with illustrator Kasing Lung. POP MART publishes them under its own lines.

The list moves. New properties launch and older ones go quiet, so treat any character list as a snapshot rather than a catalogue.

Why Cloud9 does not source POP MART

POP MART products are sold through POP MART. We have no sourcing relationship with them, so our answer on every POP MART enquiry is no.

Offers of bulk POP MART or Labubu stock from third-party suppliers should be treated as a warning sign. Unauthorized branded goods carry counterfeit, customs and marketplace-takedown risk that no unit price offsets.

What buyers source instead

There are two routes that work. The first is characters from other houses in Guangdong, China where availability can actually be confirmed.

The second is your own character. Original IP removes the licensing question entirely and gives you something no competitor can list against you.
